PENZANCE LEISURE CENTRE EXTENDS AND REFURBISHES GYM FOLLOWING £140,000 INVESTMENT

The upgraded gym includes an extended free weights area, along with new Life Fitness cardio and strength equipment

Friday 4th November, 2022 – Penzance Leisure Centre welcomed members back to their newly extended and refurbished gym facilities last week following a £140,000 investment. 

The gym boasts an extensive range of new strength training, cardio and free weights equipment as well as being given a complete redecoration, new flooring and new lighting installed.

As part of the extension, a new dedicated free weights area has been built equipped by Life Fitness Hammer Strength kit – free weights, racks, and new impact suppression platforms form the extended area for members to workout happier and healthier.

Also new to the gym,  the Life Fitness Signature Series Multi-Jungle MJ4 can support up to four exercisers at once, perfect for group training. Cable Motion Technology allows for an endless variety of strength training options to build balance, stability and power.

The main gym area is now fitted with new Life Fitness cardio equipment, including treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, and PowerMill climbers, allowing gym users access to a variety of machines. The newly installed cardio machines include easy access to fitness and entertainment apps, keeping users engaged throughout their workouts.

Boditrax fitness tracking and body composition scales have also been installed, enabling gym users to track changes in their body composition over time, helping members at the centre to stay on track to achieve their fitness goals.
