PARKWOOD LEISURE ANNOUNCES NEW SITE FOR BINGHAM MEMBERS

Friday 12 March 2021 – Parkwood Leisure’s ongoing commitment to reducing carbon emissions within our sites continues after the announcement of the new Bingham Arena, a greener and carbon efficient leisure centre and community hub.

The new £16m site is set to open in Spring 2022 and will aim to operate as a carbon neutral facility. This includes 78% carbon emission reduction compared to other leisure centres in the Borough.

The centre will host a new 25 metre six lane swimming pool with spectator seating for 330 people, teaching pool, fitness centre, spin and exercise studios, café and a community hall with capacity of 300.

We are delighted to be the operator of choice for the new Bingham Arena, enabling us to further improve and enhance the leisure provision for Rushcliffe residents. We look forward to work getting underway and to welcoming the local community to the centre when it opens.
